Home PageComfort Socks is a 501(c)3 public charity that provides new socks to homeless shelters, and non-profits that serve the homeless population, all across the United States. Aside from the obvious hygiene benefits of new socks for homeless people and families, our mission is one of Comfort. We know that new socks simply feel good, and will provide comfort to someone going through a difficult time. Comfort Socks also recognizes that sock drives encourage kindness and purpose for young and old alike. Part of our mission is to inspire others, so that the comfort these socks bring can be enjoyed soulfully by the provider and recipient. Socks are an important part of health and a constant need for homeless people, who are mostly on their feet, sleep in the woods and on the streets. Comfort Socks is working hard to make socks always available to those in need.

Why does Comfort Socks only accept NEW Socks?
• New socks are exciting to receive, and helps a person’s self –esteem during a difficult time.
• Collecting only new socks allows us to use our resources most effectively.
FAQ - What type of socks should I send to Comfort Socks?
Answer: Cotton crew, lowcut or heavyweight socks in mens and womens sizes. Although we will accept any color, WHITE is preferred and recommended.
